Another Day, Another Tram

Hey everyone!

Another beautiful day in Prague, despite the rain... Actually, it was pretty most of the day, we watched a very odd Czech movie about an old legend, it was... weird, but not too bad.

My roommates and I ventured out to buy some groceries (which if you have not tried to do in a foreign country, it's quite the adventure) and came home with some good finds. I now am the proud owner of some Frosted Flakes (not official, there's a dinosaur on the box), a small jar of peanut butter, some milk, and a few other kinds of Czech snacks. It'll be nice not to eat out all the time, the next step is finding a place to buy a pan to make some grilled cheese or something.

The tram ride is always interesting, today I met a very nice pit bull, who was just as disgusted as I was by the intense make-out session going on across the aisle. Ah, public transportation. More public than you'd ever really want sometimes...

Tonight was another staff reading, tomorrow is the first student reading, and my group is up first, so wish me luck!

  1. Hey! It's Chelsea! How was the peanut butter? The PB they had in Krakow was really gross. Also, there are so many amazing alternatives to regular American grilled cheese. In KRK, I started doing a toasted sandwich with smoked edam or gouda, salami, dijon mustard and tomato. Now tell me that doesn't sound awesome? I will be in Prague around the 17th or there abouts. I'll let you know exactly when so maybe we can meet up.

  2. The peanut butter here is actually peanut buttery, I was a little surprised. Now I just have to find a knife to actually spread it with... Ohh,that does sound like a good sandwich. The 17th I have class till 5 and a reading at 7:30, but if we could meet up in between that'd be sweet, let me know where you'll be!
